Jieram's Cylinder Homework

Cylinder Volume and Volume Problems

a)
d/2 = r
10/2 = r
5cm = r
V= (π . r . r).hr
V= 3.14 . 5 . 5 = 78.5cm²
V= 7.85cm² . 20cm= 157cm³

b)
d/2= r
1/2= r
0.5m= r
V= (π . r . r).h
V= 3.14 X 0.5 X 0.5 = 0.785cm²
V= 0.785cm² . 1 = 0.785cm³

c)
d/2= r
18/2= r
9cm= r
V= (π . r . r).h
V= 3.14 . 9 . 9= 254.34cm²
V= 254.34cm² X 7.5cm= 1907.55cm³

First Container

d/2= r
20/2= r
10cm= r
V= (π . r . r).h
V= 3.14 . 10 .10= 314cm²
V= 314cm² X 40cm= 12560cm³

Second Container

d/2= r
30/2= r
15cm= r
V= (π . r . r).h
V= 3.14 X 15 X 15= 706.5cm²
V= 706.5cm² X 20cm= 14130cm³

  2. Good job Jieram. Whenever you solve a word problem, you should have a simple sentence just like Duyen said.

  3. Great Job Jieram. Your post was great because you showed the work you did for the questions. Next time it would be better if you followed the formulas for some problems and add a video and a link.
