Jae Anne's Algebra Post

Algebra - writing mathematical phrases using letters to represent numbers.
     n + 5 = 14

Variable - a letter that represents a number in an algebraic expression or equation.
     n + 5 = 14

Constant - the integer in an algebraic expression or equation.
      n + 5 = 14
 Expression - pattern-many answers
      3x

Equation - only has one answer and has an equal sign
     3x = 27


Steps to solve:
 - Isolate the variable.
 - Cancel the constant using zero pair.
 - Balance - do it to the other side.
 - Verify to check.
