Kevin's math profile

Hi my name is Kevin and I am a grade 8 student. If someone was to ask me if I liked math I would reply by saying "I love math!". In math I'm a student who stays atleast at a 85% average or higher and I love to figure out puzzles because I get to do more work, and i get to think more. I remember in grade 6 Mr.Marquardson taught us how to do soduko puzzles. Not many people understood it at first but then I got to do a whole book at my Saturday school. Soduko puzzles are the best because they get to challenge your mind.

Last year in grade 7 I really liked doing fractions. I remember doing fractions multiplied by fractions which was kind of a struggle. Trying to find out how to change a fraction into a decimal confused me the most. Last year I didn't get some of my work done because I got distracted by the people around me. To stay focused I won't sit beside people who will bother me.

This year I am going to focus and not fool around in class so much. I don't wanna get a worse mark then my family (Alvin, David). Later on in the year I'm looking forward to doing algebra. I'm also looking forward to doing hard word equations because they challenge my mind and it would be fun.

Last year I was one of the average bloggers. This was the first post which was teaching us how to blog. I thought it was the best post I did because it was my first one, it included lots of colors but I forgot to put pictures and videos because I didn't find any. Everyone commented on my post and I also left a comment saying thanks and stuff. This year I'm looking forward to doing movies for my blog. I would get Alvin or David to help me or get my friends too. Thank you for reading my math profile I am hoping to do more blogs throughout the year.

  4. Nice profile Kevin! Your post had allot of personality in it, I liked how you said that you will try not to sit beside people that distract you, it seems that everyone has problems with that one way or another. You are very fortunate that you can actually figure out Soduko puzzles, they never made any sense to me, good for you! Next time add a link to your blog, overall great profile!

  10. Nice post, Kevin. Your post was informative and told me a lot of what you did last year and what you struggled with. I still remember the sudoku puzzles that Mr. Marquardson taught us how to do. Those were some of the best math classes ever... well of course, Isfeld and Harbeck are great too- right? Oh, and by the way, you spelt 'sudoku' wrong. Otherwise, great post.
