Paulo's Math Profile
Hello, my name is Paulo Lacap and I am a Grade 8 math student. If a person asked me if I like math, I would say yes because I really like and enjoy solving fractions, multiplication, decimals, and many many more. The best thing that I ever did in math class was play with a spinning spinner to find the experimental probability.
Last year when I was grade 7, I REALLY REALLY liked the unit about integers because it was very easy and I did kinda good on the tests and quizes. I really enjoyed using bingo chips to talk about zero pairs. The unit that made me struggle REALLY REALLY bad was the unit about circles because I always get confused about the formulas.
This year to be a very succesful student math student, I will study for all my tests or quizes, ask my teacher for help if i don't know how to do something, and get all my homework done before it is due. This year, I want to learn about the things I will be learning in grade 9 and to learn more about fractions.
In grade 7, my favorite blog was.. CLICK HERE TO VIEW MY FAVORITE BLOG. It may not be very good or perfect, but i will try to make better blogs this year. The blogging helped me become a better student because it kinda helped me with my homeworks, like when i forgot the textbook pages for homework i can just check the blog to see the pages. This year I want to do computer activities such as playing games because it can help me know more about a topic and because it REALLY REALLY makes learning more fun. (:

ReplyDeleteNice job Paulo! Your post was very colourful, and I loved how you emphasized your words to express how you felt. I agree, I do want to learn things that will help us in grade nine so I will be a better math student in grade nine also. I think Harbeck said he is going to prepare us for grade nine this year, grade eight will probably be harder than last year *groan*. I saw a few mistakes in your post with capitalization and grammar. Overall great post!
