**Grade 7 Review: Integers**

Example:

Have +4 Owe -4

(+4) - (+4)= 0

Brackets are like training wheels.

*When something isn't there use a zero pair.

Find the zero pair for the following integers.

-6, +6

+10, -10

19, -19

-16, +16

-11, +11

+14, -14

63, -63

-3 - 2= subtraction = adding a negative integer

Integer Questions

-6 - (-4)= -2

10 + 6= -4

6 -7 +2= 1

14 - (-3)= 11

***-3 - (-7)= 4**

*** -3 -7= -10**

*** 3 - 7= -4**

*** 3 + 7= 10**

*** -3 + 7= 4**

I found the Integer Rap song really catchy and helpful. I hope you enjoy it too!

Here is an integer game to help you sharpen your math skills. I wish you the best of luck to win the game!

**Chapter 2**

**Sign Rule** (negative signs)

**Even**= when you have an even number of **negative** factors the product is **POSITIVE**.

**Odd**= when you have an odd number of **negative** factors the product is **NEGATIVE**.

**Chapter 3: Dividing Integers**

**Partitive Division**- one where you know the total number of groups, and you are trying to find the number of items in each group

**Quotative Division-**one where you know the number of items in each group and are trying to find the number of groups

**Sign Rule for Division-**if the quotient of 2 integers with the same sign with an even amount of (-) signs then it equals positive, if the quotient of 2 integers with different signs then it equals negative.
